The Intercity Transit Authority is canceling the Wednesday, March 17, 2021 meeting. The next meeting of the Authority will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 5:30 p.m.

This issue includes information about service additions planned to be implemented in March and updated statewide and federal mask mandates. Other information includes a hiring opportunity, joining the Winter Bicycle Challenge and a family-friendly bicycle scavenger hunt.
Intercity Transit has added service to Routes 62A and 62B to better serve passengers traveling along the Martin Way corridor. The additional bus service increases trip frequency between the Olympia Transit Center and Marvin Road to every 15 minutes. The changes are effective immediately and will operate 7 days a week. The additional service is designed to reduce crowding and allow for greater physical distancing among passengers.
The Community Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for Monday, December 21, 2020, has been canceled.
The Intercity Transit Authority is canceling the Wednesday, December 16, 2020.  The next meeting of the Authority will held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at 5:30 p.m.

Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, Intercity Transit is currently closed to the public. To adhere to the Governor’s Proclamation 20.28 the public may attend the December 2, 2020, Authority meeting listening by telephone or via Facebook.  

Intercity Transit will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020. Local bus and Dial-A-Lift services will not operate. Customer Service and the business office will also be closed.

Intercity Transit operates on current reduced schedules on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11. The Customer Service lobby, located in the Olympia Transit Center, remains closed. However, Customer Service staff will be available by calling 360-786-1881 from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the holiday.

Intercity Transit will reopen the Olympia Transit Center platform and buses will resume operating from designated transit bays beginning Nov. 1. This change will provide waiting passengers more shelter as we transition into fall and winter weather, while providing space for social distancing for our riders.
