Service Changes Planned for Sept. 19, 2021 Public Comment Invited on Proposed Flat Rate Fare for Vanpool Drive with Intercity Transit Join the Community Advisory Committee Federal Mask Order Still in Place Promote Traffic Safety in Your Neighborhood
The Intercity Transit Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021, to receive comments on a proposed flat rate fare structure for the agency’s vanpool program. This proposal is part of the agency’s continuing effort to meet community goals and the intent of IT Proposition 1, which was approved by voters in November 2018, to create more access to public transit.
Intercity Transit will conduct a public hearing, Wednesday, August 18, 2021, beginning at 5:30 p.m. to receive public comments on a Five-Year Vanpool Fare Demonstration Project. The public hearing will take place by telephone or other remote means in accordance with Governor Inslee’s Proclamation 20-28.15, in response to the COVID-19 state of emergency. Further details concerning how to provide comment at the public hearing will be posted on the Intercity Transit website at:  www.intercitytransit.com.
