Intercity Transit is providing earlier service on Route 620 for those attending the JBLM Airshow this weekend, July 15 and 16. Passengers can transfer to the Pierce Transit Express at the SR 512 Park & Ride.

The Intercity Transit Authority scheduled a special meeting for Wednesday, July 12, 2023, for the purpose of conducting a Zero Emissions Analysis Workshop.  The governing board will meet from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the administrative office located at 510 Pattison SE, Olympia, WA.

Intercity Transit’s Dial-A-Lift, local and Express bus service will operate weekend level service on Independence Day, Tuesday, July 4. Customer Service at the Olympia Transit Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to assist customers. Intercity Transit’s administrative office will be closed, and Village Vans will not operate in observance of the holiday.

The July 5, 2023, Intercity Transit Authority Board Meeting is canceled.  The next meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

In March, our previous General Manager, Ann Freeman-Manzanares, retired wrapping up her 30-year career at Intercity Transit. We are thankful for Ann's leadership and dedication.

Intercity Transit Seeks Public Comment on Annual Transportation Improvement Program

Olympia, WA – Intercity Transit invites the public to comment on transit projects identified in the annual update of the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the period 2024-2027. Identifying projects in the local agency, TIP is a requirement for the agency to utilize Federal funding.

In partnership with Congresswoman Strickland, Intercity Transit is pleased to announce that we will receive $1,825,950 in Community Project Funding for the Zero Fare Bus Stop Access Improvement Project.
