The Intercity Transit Authority scheduled a special meeting for Friday, July 26, 2019, for the purpose of holding its Authority Planning Session. The governing board will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the administrative offices’ boardroom at 526 Pattison Street SE, Olympia, WA.

Intercity Transit’s Dial-A-Lift, local and Express bus service will operate Sunday schedules on Independence Day, Thursday, July 4. Customer Service at the Olympia Transit Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the Community Vans program will operate by advance reservation only. Intercity Transit’s administrative office will be closed and there is no Village Vans service in observance of the holiday.

The Intercity Transit Authority is canceling the Wednesday, July 3, 2019, meeting. The next meeting of the Authority will held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at 5:30 p.m.

Intercity Transit driver Rob Wood was named best bus driver in North America at the American Public Transit Association’s 44th Annual International Bus Roadeo earlier this week in Louisville, Kentucky.  Wood, along with Intercity Transit’s maintenance team of Joe Bell, James Bush and Grant Swidecki took second place in the Grand Champion team competition.

Customer Service at the Olympia Transit Center will be open from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Intercity Transit’s administrative office will be closed and there is no Village Vans service on the holiday.

Intercity Transit to Run Limited Service today, Feb. 12, starting at noon

Service to end early based on road conditions

Due to extremely treacherous road conditions that are anticipated to worsen, all morning Intercity Transit local and Express bus service is canceled until 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019. In addition, Dial-A-Lift service will only provide pre-scheduled dialysis rides and all other rides will be canceled tomorrow. Village Vans service will not operate tomorrow.
Due to poor road conditions and anticipated worsening weather, all Intercity Transit services will end early tonight, Monday, Feb. 11, 2019. Local and Express bus service will end between 5:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. All routes will continue to be on their current detours unless conditions change.

Olympia, WA – Due to poor road conditions and anticipated worsening weather, many Intercity Transit routes continue to be on snow detours that will stay in place through tomorrow morning, Monday, Feb. 11. Standard snow detours are in place on the following routes:

The Community Advisory Committee meeting scheduled tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 11, is cancelled due to inclement weather. 

Due to poor road conditions, many Intercity Transit routes are on snow detour and most detours from yesterday are still in place today.
