Bus System Redesign
In May 2026, Intercity Transit will complete the implementation of a system redesign. Many of the changes are included in the 2025 - 2030 Transit Development Plan and resources to support the system redesign and some of the changes were allocated in the 2025 Budget.
The following sections provide an overview of the bus system redesign; they will continue to evolve as resources are completed so customers can learn about the new system, provide feedback on the changes, and plan in advance for they will travel by transit within the Thurston County Public Transportation Benefit Area (PTBA) and beyond.

Maps and schedules are available now for each route in our new system. We'll be adding a trip planner and printable schedules, so check back soon.
