Intercity Transit Operates on Veterans Day

The Intercity Transit Authority scheduled a special meeting for Friday, November 8th, 2024, for the purpose of conducting Community Advisory Committee candidate interviews. The ad hoc committee will meet from 10 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m. in the boardroom of the Olympia Transit Center located at 205 Franklin St. NE, Olympia WA.

Review the DRAFT January 2025 service change preview to provide feedback during the public comment period from Monday, Oct. 7 through Friday, Oct. 25.
Initiative 2117, or I-2117, would repeal the 2021 Climate Commitment Act (CCA), which funds the Move Ahead Washington legislation that allocates $3 billion for public transit over 16 years. If passed, the initiative would eliminate a projected $143 million in funding for Intercity Transit over the next 14 years.

The Intercity Transit Authority (ITA) is seeking civic-minded individuals who represent our diverse community to serve as advisors on the ITA or on the Community Advisory Committee (CAC).
Now that Intercity Transit's bus and Dial-A-Lift services have been zero-fare (fare free) for a few years, our goal is to continue to share and promote the ease, convenience and equity this has provided. To continue sharing the impact zero-fare service has on our community, we want to hear from you, our riders, what zero-fare means to you. Please share your story by taking our survey by Thursday, Sept. 5!
