All routes to operate weekend schedules on Independence Day, July 4

Intercity Transit’s Dial-A-Lift, local and Express bus service will operate weekend level service on Independence Day, Thursday, July 4. Customer Service at the Olympia Transit Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to assist customers. Intercity Transit’s administrative office will be closed, and Village Vans will not operate in observance of the holiday.

Transit riders connecting to other systems in the region should check their holiday service schedules as they may have modified schedules.

Expect delays on inbound Route 65 and outbound Route 68

Due to ongoing construction at Britton Pkwy. and Carpenter Rd., and the resulting detour on Route 65, the inbound direction of Route 65 and the outbound direction of Route 68 are experiencing delays of between 10 and 25 minutes, depending on the amount of traffic throughout the day. Customers can see estimated delay times using their favorite transit app on their smartphones.

More trips on Route 94 starting June 30, 2024

Starting June 30, 2024, we're adding more trips to the Route 94 schedule. On weekdays, there will be 12 additional trips and on weekends there will be 11. Traveling between Olympia and Yelm just got a little easier!

Route 65 on revised detour until further notice due to construction at the Britton Pkwy/Carpenter Rd. intersection

Route 65 is on a revised detour until further notice due to road construction at the Britton Pkwy and Carpenter Rd. intersection. The inbound direction has been updated. Please see below for detour routing and stop closures. 

Route 65 outbound detour:

• Buses will head east on Martin Way E.
• Turn left toward Marvin Rd. NE
• Turn left at the 1st cross street onto Marvin Rd. NE
• Continue straight to stay on Marvin Rd. NE
• At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit and stay on Marvin Rd NE
• At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto Willamette Dr NE

The following outbound stops will be missed:

• Stop #1070, Carpenter Rd. at Martin Way [nb]
• Stop #1044, Carpenter Rd. at 9^th Ln [nb]
• Stop #1045, Britton Place Apts. [eb]
• Stop #1047, Britton Pkwy at Marvin Rd. [eb]

Route 65 inbound detour:

• Buses will head west on Britton Pkwy. NE toward Twin Oaks Rd. NE
• Turn right onto Twin Oaks Rd. NE
• Turn right onto Hickory Stick Rd. NE
• Turn right onto Marvin Rd. NE
• At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit and stay on Marvin Rd. NE
• At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit and stay on Marvin Rd. NE
• Continue straight to stay on Marvin Rd. NE
• Turn right onto Martin Way E

The following inbound stops will be missed:

• Stop #1066, Britton Pkwy at Callison Rd.. [wb]
