The legislation creating the Public Transportation Benefit Areas (PTBA), RCW 36.57A.055, requires the composition of the governing body of the PTBA be reviewed every four years. The last review of the composition took place May 18, 2022.
As provided in RCW 36.57A.055, this review must be conducted at a special meeting of the county legislative authority with an elected representative of each city within the boundaries of the PTBA (Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, and Yelm). A twenty (20) day notice of the meeting is required.
