Bus Riders

As a reminder, catch your bus at a stop on a flat portion of the street, a Transit Center, or a transfer point to avoid hills.

  • If there's no traffic going by your bus stop, walk to a stop on a busier street.
  • Know your snow route. If your bus is on standard snow detour, your regular stop may be closed. Our snow routes are available at intercitytransit.com/bus/routes/snow-detours.
  • If your bus stop is on a hill, walk to a stop at the bottom to catch your bus.
  • Stand away from the curb until the bus comes to a complete stop.
  • Please use caution when navigating slick surfaces near bus stops and facilities.

Expect delays, changes in accessibility and crowded buses.

When surface streets are snowy or icy, traffic moves slowly and can add to schedule delays. Our goal is to get our passengers to their destinations safely, which will take longer in bad weather. Please be patient.
