What is happening?
We are making important stormwater improvements at two of our locations: Amtrak Centennial Station and the Lacey Transit Center.
Amtrak Centennial Station
Work to improve drainage and pavement at the Amtrak Centennial Station is in progress. The Amtrak project will restore the existing stormwater system to its original design, ensuring we meet stormwater requirements. Work is expected to be completed by Dec.10, with minimal impact on customers using the station. However, there will be parking areas that are temporarily inaccessible.
Lacey Transit Center
Once work at Amtrak is complete, repairs will begin at the Lacey Transit Center to repair grates in the driveway that cover stormwater infrastructure. The work will take place between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m., so there will be no impact on customers’ travel. The project is expected to be completed by Dec. 25.
For your safety, please avoid areas that are cordoned off. Both projects are weather dependent so delays may occur.
